Guilty, I do fish them and have tremendous success. If anyone wants to know the low down let me know and I'll do my best to keep you informed.

Great to have you aboard flyfisheranonymous. Any news of the ice conditions at Bower? Thinking about a trip the first weekend in May.

Bower is open as far as I know but I will double check with my sources. Will have a definite answer by Tue.

We made the trip up over this past weekend. Both Bower and William were ice free. We were told the ice came off William last Thursday. The fishing was very tough. It's going to take a few weeks for the water to clear and warm before things get going. I did manage one 22" brown out of William.

Fished Patterson this morning. Very sloww only a few hits.

Moved to Tokaryk at 11.00am and by 2.00 pm ii had caught 15 rainbows 16" - 20". Fish were aggressive, fast and jumped out of the water 4-6 times frequently.

So much for the Tokaryk winterkill rumors. Thanks for the report.

We still haven't had any decent warm weather yet but it is getting there. There have been a few trout caught out of Patterson, the largest I heard of is 27 inches. A nice 'Bow. I fished up in the Ducks during our May long weekend and man was it cold. Both my son and I had some really nice fishing though. Between us we landed over 100 trout over the weekend. Only caught 3 Tigers on Twin 1-22" and 2-23". The rest were Rainbows from 12-20 inches, with most being 15-17". A great weekend. Got some pics on my lap top, which my wife has right now, so I will post some pics at a later date. Oh yea, I did manage to catch a 13 1/4 inch Perch as well. What a riot.
