Its going to be in a decent size lake but only on the dock i will be fishing i heard worms with a spinner on it will work but what else. i also but bass attractant should i use that at night or does that not matter??

I know some people that spend a LOT of money on custom rods and paraphernalia simply to fish for flies. What’s that about? If I want to kill flies I just get a can of Yard Guard. A couple of good squirts and I’ve got at least a hundred nailed. No, I don’t catch and release either.

Here’s what I usually do:
After you clean the fish, stuff it with chopped onions, celery, cilantro and sprinkle in some lemon pepper. Then wrap the fish in bacon and then wrap some tin foil around it. Throw it on the grill and when it’s close to done, remove the foil and finish cooking without the foil.
It comes out pretty good! However, my wife’s not crazy about that recipe. I’d like to make something different for a change; something that we’ll BOTH enjoy. So…
Does anyone know any good recipes for cooking rainbow trout on the grill??

I have noticed a big drop in their numbers, since I fished as a kid. It is also caused by damaging their environment , but commercial fishing seems to do a good amount of damage too. I plan on getting a petetion and getting people to write to Congress , because this is getting out of hand. I am not advocating banning sport fishing , but commercial fishing.

The lake I fish is full of trout and Kokanee. I do not really like stocker trout so I put most of them back. I just would like to be able to identiy the kokanee by something other than "more than 12 anal ray fins…"

i am new to fly fishing. lovin it. last weekend i was talking to a guy at a campground by a river and dam and he said he caught some fish on ‘attractors’ with his spinning rod and float. How does that work exactly. what are attractors and how do you use them with floats? wont the float spook the fish?
