i live in port saint lucie florida and i fish the jetty in fort pierce or the many piers within a 25-35 mile distance from my house. I have been wanting to try out some inland saltwater fishing for some trout or redfish but every spot i have tried have ended up being a crappy spot. Hopefully i get some good answers to get me started. I have no boat so any wading or bank fishing spots will work.

I fish at this lake filled with hydrilla in many areas. I have found this one area where i have seen a lot of large bass cruising by. I don’t have a lure that can tough through this gunk! The Wormist has recommended some of those Rage Tail toads but i just can’t afford them at this moment. Any bait that is similar to the rage tail that will work?
If not, then what would you recommend?

Hi. I am a beginning fisherman going to fish for rainbow, brook, brown, and apache trout in the Black River of the White Mountains of Arizona. Going in late August. I have very basic rod/reel set up and am not a fly fisherman. How can I catch trout in the river with bait? Would nightcrawlers and a bobber be sufficient?

I am trying to cook with fish, and the one I am cooking for does not like all fish. The only fish he will consume currently is Salmon. He doesn’t like Tuna, or fish that are very salty and distinctly ‘fishy’.
What are fish that have a similar taste to Salmon, or that you think he’d probably enjoy?

Is it too early to start? I’ve tried owen sound and port albert but haven’t had any luck. Should i wait til later in the season? What time of the day should i be fishing? I’m using spawn and also spoons that glow in the dark. Every time i’ve been out was at night. Haven’t had a single bite either. What am i doing wrong? Where else would be a good place to fish? I heard about how some hatcheries will let you fish from their stock for a set price per fish, or price per pound. I live in WA, and was thinking of testing my (possibly nonexistent) fishing skills at a hatchery, and maybe get something to eat (Mmm, grilled salmon with Blue Cheese) while Im at it. Are there any hatcheries around the Puget Sound area that I could visit to fish from?

i liv on a dock in mn and there are tons of bass in the area but when i fish in the day sunnys always go after my baite when im fishing and its a paine taking them off cuz the hok is so big i use a 7 in worm will the sunnys be gone in the evening thank u

I saw these people fishing off the shore for pink salmon, they were using fly rods and just regular spinners. They limited out in about 2 hours, (4 fish) and got 1 silver. I was wondering how to fish for these things. The guy said they where in the top 2 feet of water and hit on pink stuff.. Does this sound right? Also are pinks good on the grill?

i always have this problem when i fish with streamers i looked it up online and its apperently called a ‘bump’ the trout do it the stun the ‘fish’ for a couple seconds so they can catch it (in their mouths) easier and i always mistake it for a hit on the fly. so is it better to leave the fly in or cut the line?

I can’t find any solid information on this. I plan to go fishing somethime, for fun with some friends, but we won’t be keeping the fish, just throwing them back. Would I need a license for that? My mom went into a garda station and they just laughed at her, but other people are saying I do need one, and others are saying only if you’re fishing Salmon and Sea Trout.
I can’t find anything on some of the angler’s websites either.
